Location and Background
Bluff City Acres is located about 18 minutes off of the Ridgeville exit in Dorchester, SC on a beautiful 40 acres gated farm. The property owners live on site. The farm is name after the owners first horse "Bluff City Baileys" who they call Bailey.
Horse Boarding
We offer beautiful pasture and Stall Boarding. The Stable consists of a 10 Stall barn with lookout windows that can be open or closed, and each stall has its own fan, blanket bar, saddle rack and hook. The Barn features an indoor hot/cold wash rack, sitting area, climate controlled tack room & feed room w/fridge, and WIFI. Stalled horses are turned out daily. Pasture horses all have sufficient shelter and nice shady trees. We feed high quality hay and primarily Seminole Feeds. Our staff is on premises throughout the day and takes care of all feeding adjustments, administering of medications, and minor emergency care.
Riding Facilities
We have a full size dressage arena that is currently grass footing, a 90' x 200' enclosed riding arena, Stadium jump course, Cross Country jumps and a large enclosed round pen. The property is cleared so there is always room to hack around or work outside the arena. We have a few short trails. The riding arena and enclosed arena are lighted for night time use.
We offer hauls in for $30 for use of all of the facilites. Lessons are availabe with instructors of most disciplines. Please contact us directly for more information.
Events
Bluff City Acres held its first Annual SCDCTA Junior Riders Benefit Schooling Show in May of 2023. This property is great for 1st time riders, young children and horses that just need to get off property. Shows are very low key. Please see EVENTS below for current show dates.
